Last updated: 2026-10-17
This policy explains what personal data SPELK PRESS collects through this website, why, and what rights you have.
Who we are
[Legal entity name], trading as SPELK PRESS, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Registered office: [registered address]. Contact us about privacy at [contact email].
What we collect
When you contact us. If you use our contact form we collect your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you and to deal with your enquiry.
When you visit the website. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These logs are used to run and secure the website.
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies on this website.
Our legal basis
We process contact form data on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, and server logs on the basis of our legitimate interests in running a secure website.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run the website. They process data on our behalf and only under our instructions:
- Bunny.net (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia) hosts and delivers the website.
- Basin (usebasin.com) receives contact form submissions and forwards them to us by email.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that contact form submissions come from a person, not a bot. It may process technical information about your browser and device to do this.
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
Purchases made in our shop at shop.spelk.press are covered by the shop's own privacy notice.
We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as we need to deal with your enquiry, and for up to [12 months] afterwards in case you get back in touch. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use it
- ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation
To use any of these rights, email [contact email]. We'll respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
